Tras trabajo de investigación y puesta en común de materiales, el alumnado realiza presentaciones escritas sobre La necrópolis de Corominas. Aquí tenemos un ejemplo:
COROMINA’S
NECROPOLIS
In 2001, a prehistoric necropolis dating back more
than 5,000 years was discovered during the construction of the Costa del Sol
highway.
To make the continuation of the road works possibloe, a
new place was built a kilometer away. The design of the small museum is
futuristic, outstanding and simple, since some structural pieces were used in
its construction to form a dome and reproduce the original environment. To
complete the similarity with the burial site, it was covered with rocks and
soil imitating a tumulus.
Entering,
it is a spectacular and magical experience. The eyes must adapt to the soft
inner illumination to discover little by little all the treasures that are
conserved in it.
And when you are able to see, a world of 5 dolmens,
skeletons, ceramic vessels, stone tools, arrowheads and personal ornaments are
displayed in front of you in a very professional way. The skulls and skeletons
in view are reproductions since the originals are preserved in another museum.
The
entrance of stone reconstructing a dolmen and the starry optical fiber sky that
reproduces the constellation of 5000 years ago complete the spectacularity of
the funerary architecture.
The importance of this necropolis is that it is the
best preserved in Andalusia and that was used during different periods such as
Neolithic and Bronze Era.
